LEMONOC Seminar in Dublin
On 8 June 2015, we organised the second LEMONOC Seminar at the Kimmage Development Studies Centre in Dublin. The interactive format offered the ten participants an opportunity to reflect critically upon their own vision and expectations concerning qualitative learning mobility between North and South. The key topics included the relation between the global and the local level, personal learning processes, and need for more connections between civial society organisations and higher education institutions. In the second part of the seminar, we introduced the LEMONOC tools and LEMONOC criteria for good practice in learning mobility. During the last part we discussed prospective challenges and opportunities.
We received very positive and encouraging feedback. Once more, it became clear that there is need to improve the quality of this type of learning mobility and to exchange expertise between colleagues of different faculties and institutions.
We would like to thank all the participants for attending. Your insights and perspectives were very valuable to the LEMONOC project.
