LEMONOC at the Global Internship Conference

LEMONOC researcher Tara McGrath presented the project at the Global Internship Conference in Dublin, Ireland (9 to 12 June 2015). The project was presenting on the last day of the conference sharing the space with Bob Gough, Director of Internships and Development at Western University Canada. During an interactive presentation, facilitators drew synergies between their programmes drawing to the conclusion that a good practice self-assessment tool, such as LEMONOC is a crucial tool in developing internships to the Global South. In an panel discussion participants got the chance to reflect critically upon their vision and expectations concerning qualitative learning mobility North-South.

The Global Internship Conference brought together international academics, professionals from global foundations and professionals within higher education. The conference theme was 'Internships and Employability: Building a Global Portfolio’.
